Make sure it feels right for you.
It’s your place in the sand and no one else’s.
Now turn toward the sea.
Notice the waves churning on the shore.
Some waves rising gently to the shore.
Some crashing.
Some slowly flowing out to sea.
Some sucked out underneath the ones rising.
All at the same time.
Feelings are like these waves.
Some come and go gently.
And some come in storms.
Notice what feelings are now in the tide of your being.
Let your breath be the guide.
Like a lighthouse illuminating the waves of your being.
Notice how these wave feelings are shaping your breath.
Notice what feelings are churning in the waves.
Let each breath widen the illumination of your shoreline.
As you inhale, notice each feeling you have alongside the breath.
Notice how it feels rising into your awareness.
Does it feel good?
Does it feel right-sized to your place in your sand?
If so, let yourself notice if there are other feelings pulsing alonside or underneath this one.
Can you make more room for more feelings?
Can you let them churn, and ebb, and flow?
If not, notice what happens if you give yourself more space.
More space to be the wide meeting of the sea and the shore.
Let yourself lay out fully in the sand where it meets the sea.
Notice if you can let your waves of being churn.
Moving without judgement.
Making more room to understand this wave comes as it goes.
This feeling rises and falls.
And you remain.
